Butterflies at Memaw's

Over the weekend, my husband and I gave our memaw & pepaw a surprise visit because we missed them so much. It was just one of those spontaneous trips you take when find yourself further and further away from home. We love taking off like that.

We arrived at their house but before I could even get to the door, I was completely distracted by all these butterflies that were taking over memaw's flower garden. I've never seen so many of them together, floating around, hopping from one flower to the other. I was surprised I got so excited. To quote my friend, Christina - "A" of all, I'm not one to strictly take nature-y type pics. & B, I never really cared for butterflies. Until now, apparently.

So I've become one of those people. Enjoy!
